Hills Harmony Open Night
Do you love singing?
Do you love the sound of vocal harmony?
Hey, so do we!
Hills Harmony Chorus is an award winning chorus operating in the Hills area of Sydney for men of all ages who love to sing in harmony.
We invite men of all ages to come to our Open Night on 6 February 2020.
The night is free and will be an entertaining evening in which you’ll get to hear the chorus
sing and there will be opportunities for you to sing along with us.
Our members look forward to our weekly rehearsals which are both educational and fun and
enjoy hanging out with a bunch of guys all united in wanting to sing great music together.
We regularly perform publicly including lots of carolling during the Christmas season. We
also do shows at retirement villages, aged care facilities, perform at shopping centres around
the District as well as busking and join in community choral events. Our concerts, every 2nd
year, are a special feature and enjoyed by a large audience.
Our chorus is part of a national body called Barbershop Harmony Australia. This presents
opportunities to perform annually in a competition environment with singers from around
Australia and overseas. We also get formal recognition of our singing goals achieved
and valuable feedback and development tips.
Except for a break of a few weeks over the Christmas New Year period, we rehearse
on Thursdays evenings every week of the year.
For our open night, please arrive by 7.15pm for a 7.30 pm start on the first night and try to remember to bring a water bottle as singing is thirsty work!
The address is the Kellyville Anglican Church Hall
45 President Road, Kellyville See Map
Hills Harmony Chorus is independent of Kellyville Anglican Church - We just hire their hall on Thursdays
